Bongaigaon district occupies an area of 1,724 square kilometres.This district is surrounded by Barpeta in the east, the Brahmaputra in the south and Chirang in the north and west corner.
The Project will include 27 Gaon Panchayats (GPs) of Bongaigaon district for its 24×7 piped water supply project in 2 developmental Blocks viz. Boitamari and Tapattary.The project area covers 233 villages in total.
